long story leading to a few questions

i have a pioneer fh-x700bt, it's nothing special but it does everything i want it to (namely bluetooth) so i've been satisfied thus far. so, i get my sub back from getting the spider and tinsel wire repaired and i'm excited because i've been without bass for two weeks. i get everything hooked back up and all i get is thumping. i first try one of my other amps (both MTX RT2600) and still just thumping. i rule out the amp using my tablet and a 3.5mm to rca cable, no thump. i then used another set of rca's and still thumping. i read somewhere that pioneer decks like to be chassis grounded, (i've always run pioneer decks and have always used the harness ground without incident) so i did that, and still thump. i go to the shed and and dig up my OLD pioneer deh-1400 and rig it up, no thump, everything operates as it should. turns out that both of my rca outputs are toast, has this happened to anyone else? i really like the deck, is it repairable? how much should i plan to shell out if it can be repaired?

if anyone cares to know; turns out it is apparently infamous pico micro-fuse. i've run 4 other pioneers and this is the first one this has happened to, i had never even heard of it until a few days ago. i grounded the outer sections of the preouts to the deck's chassis using an old 16 ga wire, and all seems well for now.
