Well, tomottow is the 10 hour drive to South Dakota to my cousin's graduation.

It's going to be in my mom's Jeep because she gets twice as many miles per gallon as me, which isn't saying much //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

I can either drive or ride in the passenger's seat.

I've had four 5 hour drives by myself, but I've never driven 10 hours straight (obviously have to stop for gas though. Duh.)

Going to be with my mom, so I can't listen to the kind of music I like while driving. I won't have interntet connection either, so I can't sit on the forums in the passenger seat or stream music. I don't have music downloaded on my phone.

I was thinking about bringing my copy of "The Loudspeaker Design Cookbook" and really seriously studying it and learning.

Any other ideas? I'm looking for something productive to do for 10 hours in a car with no internet.

loudspeaker design cookbook (LDC) will be very dry reading for 10 hours.

I personally would opt to drive as much as possible and switch out with your mom for ~1hr at the 1/3 and 2/3 points of the trip. Read the LDC during your break and spend your driving time thinking about what you read and running thought experiments.

Get a 250lb to 400lb heavy grip trainer and get bone crushing grip strength.

Some audible audio books on car audio would work too.why read loudspeaker cookbook when someone can read it to you.

Problem is, the only stuff I have downloaded is old stuff. I just listen to new music on Soundcloud. The only new music I have downloaded is on a USB in my truck.

Yeah, it is really dry, but is full of great information. I'm hoping to be able to really soak it in during the car ride.

Fug SD that state is boring as fug outside of the badlands and Mount Rushmore area. The state is huge and absolutely nothing to see for an entire day. At least Kansas has Salina in the middle of it's well as their Manhattan.
