Lol

Hmm.. So wallstreet didn't package a bunch of bad loans (securities) which were of course initially approved by the banks and then sell them to unsuspecting investors knowing full well that those loans were going to eventually default?
Funny, in another thread I mentioned that Clinton and his "everyone should own a home" policies contributed to the housing bubble, I was told I'm a rebuplican **** who spends all night circle jerking to G.W..

You guys are a-holes.
Yo moonbat...u mad? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/naughty.gif.94359f346c0f1259df8038d60b41863e.gif

The government never FORCED them into doing anything. They saw the easy money they'd make by approving these loans and then selling them off.
It's called Capitalism. The big banks and "Wall Street" are going to make money where they can, and when gov't fucks up that bad and did actually force lenders to lend to people who could not pay, they are going to take advantage of it and make da monies. You cannot blame them for that. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

Point being everyone seems to have an opinion about the cause of the housing bubble burst, but if someone else disagrees, the unintelligent resort to name calling and personal insults.
The cause was Barney Frank (D), Chris Dodd (D), Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. That is an easy one son. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif
