Lol

Congress has proven itself to not be responsible enough to manage our money. Its has the fiscal responsibility of a retarded drunken teenager with a fist full of cash at a ********** convention.
Great analogy. I have to agree.

Obama's Justice Dept. is presently pushing the big lenders to lower their lending standards so that more lower income and minorities can buy a house. Where have I heard this before, and didn't that shit get us the present shitty economy? Hope. LOL! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

Yep, subprime lending is coming back.

The greed of the banks and wallstreet is insane.

Americans need to take back control of their country. We don't even have control over our money anymore. I just saw an Arab royal family member (UAE) carve his name into the earth so it is to be seen from space. You know where that money came from? Our money from buying oil. China has used our techniques to build their infrastructure to imitate ours, roads, buildings, and even use lower labor cost and insignificant tariffs to move all our money to there banks and citizens. I think Americans need to take control of America. We threw one government out (mind you it was over 200 years ago) but we did it, and shouldn't be afraid to do it again if needed. Imho.

It wasn't wall street or the banks. It was a government mandate by the fagatron before Bush.
Hmm.. So wallstreet didn't package a bunch of bad loans (securities) which were of course initially approved by the banks and then sell them to unsuspecting investors knowing full well that those loans were going to eventually default?

Funny, in another thread I mentioned that Clinton and his "everyone should own a home" policies contributed to the housing bubble, I was told I'm a rebuplican **** who spends all night circle jerking to G.W..

You guys are a-holes.

Yes, they did. After the fact. They had to do that to cover the bad loans they were forced into.
The government never FORCED them into doing anything. They saw the easy money they'd make by approving these loans and then selling them off.

I didn't say that nor did I read this other thread you talked about. Calm down you liberal twit.
Point being everyone seems to have an opinion about the cause of the housing bubble burst, but if someone else disagrees, the unintelligent resort to name calling and personal insults.
