They are good for cruising and picking up chicks, racing is not one of them... Something about 35 year old suspension parts I just don't feel comfortable with for racing our Chevelle.

No, I'm a farm kid that dosen't have access to vehicles that I feel safe in going past 120. I'm not a complete f'ing idiot and I've seen what happens at those kind of speeds. I've done 120 in an '89 S-10, that was stupid, not going to do that again.

I have done 130+ in a 02 T/A on a roadtrip before, I prefer to get up to speed fast rather than having a high speed.

If you SERIOUSLY think a S2000 can even DARE hang with a F-Body or Stang....then you just might be a little retarted. That '03 Cobra in that race was stock at the time btw, idk about the S2K, but I could tell was definetly not a stock engine.

But as far as handling goes, how many times in an american race are you going to need handling? Even if by some chance you raced on the highway, minimal handling is going to be needed. What is your def. of a rice burner? Either way...I grew up with both F-body lovers and import lovers. I have respect for both...but you are wrong if you think F-body's "own any rice".

I can't tell you how many 302's and modded strokers I have seen smoked by 4 cylinders and 6 cylinders.

Especially boosted inline 6's.

Both have their place. Gas mileage is a nice plus on one side though....
