lol @ the idiots thinking f bodys and fox's can handle

But a ZR-1 isn't quite common.... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/naughty.gif.94359f346c0f1259df8038d60b41863e.gif
A valid argument.

My rebuttal:

I do not know the numbers right offhand but I'll wager GM manufactured more ZR-1 'Vettes than Ferrarri did the 308 GTB.

If I'm wrong I'm happy to admit it after someone shows me the stats, however...

All cars are different. No two cars are exactly the same. Comparing car a to car b is a pointless and endless argument that is only fueled by the fact that there are so many variables it is uncertain to determine a finite answer to the question.

So whats the point of these 20 pages?I've owned a 98 Firebird, but that doesn't mean I raced it.

Come on, my civic would walk all over the firebird. On the corners and the straights.
Funniest thing posted in this thread so far!

NO THATS IMPOSSIBLE GO KARTS HAVE SOLID REAR AXLES AND MY FRIENDS MARO HAS A 10 BOLT!!!

Just about every single magazine actually. I dont race around cones if thats what you're calling experience. I hardly see what that has to do with anything though. I could make up some bullshit, seems to be your game. I'd love to hear about this 911 slaying corner carving vette of yours. fanboy.
You dont go around cones, and I am sure you dont roadrace either. So what makes you the authority on handling. Going around cones or autox is a test of driver and good handling of a car, thats what it has to do with it. Camaros do very well at autox's but are actually a better roadrace car. Last time I checked road courses have corners. The car has to handle well to get around corners fast, which an Fbody can do.

Dude just face facts you have no idea what you are talking about and have no business telling anyone waht car handles good or bad. Just a typical magazine internet racer. Besides I am guesiing all those import magzines youi read dont mention much about Fbodys. I will give you this though, you were right about the first year Z06.

i'm dumb

you're right, thats why every other sports car is made with solid rear axles. way to disregard anything that you didn't want to read or agree with. you're an idiot.

What is the point? The pony cars were built for one purpose. They were meant to be quick, relatively well handling, sporty cars. They accomplished that. They are not the best built, but as if other cars in their class can begin to claim that. The cars obviously can do more than go straight, otherwise people wouldn't bother with them. Yeha, yadda yadda with "X amount of money". You have to have some form of potential there to piss away with, and then actually do well with.

I don't know who would put them in a league with 'Vettes, Supras, 300ZXs's and such, but in their class of cars, the pony cars do just fine.

i own a 94 camaro an I can gurantee for a fact, that my friends 98 vw golf handles a shit load better, i had to avoid running in to the back of some dumbass on the highway in the camaro, so i jerked the wheel to get out of the way... what happened? i drifted at 70 mph, and then spun out. I'm 100% positive that if we were in the golf, we would have just maneuvered around the other car and kept going...

I didnt disregard anything. You are the one who has ducked all the questions. A solid rear car can handle very well, plain and simple, and it does on a Fbod.

Using your logic I guess a Vette handles like shit because they use leaf springs(yeh that ultra modern suspension you were talking about) for suspension, so does my Dodge Ram pick up and it handles like shit, so must the Vette. You are out of your league magazine racer.
