i like all cars that dont look gay. imports, domestics dont matter. rice...does matteri dont have a problem with either, but im beggining to like imports alot more recently, but nothing beats the sound of american V8....woooshing sounds come close though //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
I guess they cant handle either. I sure would like to know what your definition of handling is? I am guessing its only something you have heard about on the internet.i hate vipers with a passion.
Did i say that vipers couldn't handle? No, i certainly did not. I think they're overrated though, and i'd rather not die of heatstroke while driving one. The Viper is a blunt instrument. Thats just how it is.I guess they cant handle either. I sure would like to know what your definition of handling is? I am guessing its only something you have heard about on the internet.I think you should just show up at a track for once in your life and see what really handles and what doesnt.
As far as Top Gear is concerned, they also didnt like the new Z06, so their word isnt much, but I do agree the new GT500 is an overweight pig.
american V8 + whooshing sound = FTWi dont have a problem with either, but im beggining to like imports alot more recently, but nothing beats the sound of american V8....woooshing sounds come close though //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

ever heard of sr20det's, or 4g63's... who was talking about 4 cylinders anyway???First of all, dont get into 4 cylinder cars when were talking about a power thread. lol
I have nothing at all against old muscle cars, but whomever started this thread talking about the newer F-bodys has no idea. Line a newer 98' Fbody Transam all stock up against a all stock Chevelle. The chevelle will not stand a chance. Dont get me wrong. Old muscle cars can be built to hell of drag cars. I've owned a few. But to say a F-body cant handle much is insane. I've got a buddy that has a 600 hp z28 on a stock 10 bolt rear end with 4.10 gears. :0
yep you got me on that one... didn't know that, but still I think most people on this thread knew we were talking about 93-02 camaro/firebird models, and I'm not positive, but I don't think the chevelle was a f-body.f-bodies date back to 67.
So your argument is that because a newer stock f body can out preform a car from the 70's, it therefore must be a great handling car. Well i would hope after 30-40 years they could make some improvements. The sad thing is, the technology is about the same.First of all, dont get into 4 cylinder cars when were talking about a power thread. lol
