LOL @ probowl game

Keep tellin' yourself that, bobby.
You're wrong right off the bat, bobby. The Bears have 122 regular season wins sine the Panthers came into the league. The Panthers have 119. And only a sad, silly Panthers fan would still brag about a 5 year old playoff win that didn't lead to a Super Bowl ring. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif
The Bears have 9 championships in team history and more than one perfect season. Doesn't matter if it happened 75 years ago, or 1 year ago. Championships count FOREVER. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Bears > Panthers. It really isn't even close. Now, then and forever. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

The Bears are WAY better than the Panthers currently too. Carolina is looking at multiple losing seasons in the immediate future while the Bears are knockin' at the door of becoming perennial winners.

Who has the better QB? Bears.

Who has the better RB? Bears.

Who has the better WRs? Bears (although it ain't by much).

Who has the better defense? Bears.

Who has the better coaching staff? Bears.

Who just lost 14 games this year? Panthers.

You lose again, bob. Why do you keep trying?

And okay, you got me, the Bears have 3 more wins than the expansion Panthers....

Again.....

Given time, & a competent OC, Jimmy Clausen will be a good NFL QB.

Carolina has much better running backs than the Bears. Carolina has a Hall of Fame WR, but neither teams WR core are anything special. The Bears have a great defense...NFL top 5, no doubt, but the Panthers have a good defense...no defense is gonna be successful when they spend 35-40 out of 48 min a game on the field. They're young & very, very talented. Coaching staff is subjective....but I wouldn't trade Rivera for Smith //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif .....& the Bears are closer to becoming perennial losers than perennial winners. In case you forgot, the QB that beat you last week plays in your Division. The Bears will be left to fight for Wild Card's the next 4-6 years.

Saying Carolina is gonna have multiple losing seasons because of this year is dumb.

In '01 the Panthers were 1-15 & had just fired their coaching staff. Less than 2 years later they were in the Super Bowl. And this team has more potential than that '01 team did. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

Yup, that's a lot of championships. At the rate they're going, it'll take your panthers a thousand years to accomplish that much.

Their are numerous franchises that have a better history than the Bears. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif
The Panthers ain't one of 'em. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

No franchise has won more games than the Bears either.

And okay, you got me, the Bears have 3 more wins than the expansion Panthers....
I only pointed it out becuase you ignorantly proclaimed the Panthers to have more wins. It's only one of the nearly endless stupid things you've posted. It's right up there with your "accuracy is determined by QBR" retardation. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

Again.....Given time, & a competent OC, Jimmy Clausen will be a good NFL QB.
Clausen will NEVER, EVER be a good QB. He threw 3 TDs this season, bobby. Quite pathetic.

Carolina has much better running backs than the Bears.
negative. Matt Forte had 1,600+ all purpose yds this season. Stewart and Goodson can't touch that, and Williams is all but gone.

Carolina has a Hall of Fame WR, but neither teams WR core are anything special.
Yeah, Smith was a beast...WAS. As of right now Johnny Knox is better than him. It's quite sad really.

The Bears have a great defense...NFL top 5, no doubt, but the Panthers have a good defense...
Sorry for stealing Peppers and Harris from ya. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

no defense is gonna be successful when they spend 35-40 out of 48 min a game on the field.
We makin' excuses now, bob? Oh, and there are 60 minutes in a football game. You really **** at this. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

They're young & very, very talented.
We shall see.

Coaching staff is subjective....but I wouldn't trade Rivera for Smith //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif
Smith has coached the Bears to three divisional championships, 2 NFCCG and 1 Super Bowl appearance in his tenure. I'm not a huge fan of the guy's tactics, but the results are as plain as the nose on your face.

.....& the Bears are closer to becoming perennial losers than perennial winners.
Nope. Jay Cutler, in two seasons, has already become one of the greatest Bears QBs in history. Matt Forte is also a legitimate stud. We're two offensive linemen and one WR away from being one of the most explosive offenses in football. On the other hand there's our defense, which is the team's bread & butter. We draft defensive talent with relative ease. Our aging guys will be replaced as needed and the "D" won't skip a beat. Last, but not least, is our Special Teams...and they're as good as they come year in and year out.

The future is bright in Chicago. MUCH, MUCH brighter than the future of your full on rebulid mode, no QB having, losing your #1 RB shortly Carolina Panthers. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

In case you forgot, the QB that beat you last week plays in your Division. The Bears will be left to fight for Wild Card's the next 4-6 years.
Competition is good. All the divisional wars will lead to championships, because the Bears will be used to playing tough competition week after week. And you're once again falling back on the subjective. Rodgers is prone to concussions and one of them could end his career on any given hit. I hope that never happens, because stomping him out year after year is gonna be F-U-N.

I've gotta add an edit here:

That "QB that beat us last week" didn't exactly beat us. If you care to go back and look, Rodgers had a very mediocre game in the NFCCG. We lost, and Rodgers was playing against us, but that loss can't be directly attributed to anything Rodgers did. I have a feeling that Rodgers will need to play MUCH better this weekend. If he doesn't, the Packers will get destroyed.

Saying Carolina is gonna have multiple losing seasons because of this year is dumb.
Nowhere near as dumb as most of the ignorance you spew around here, stupid...

In 2004 the Chicago Bears were 5-11. They've won 3 division titles, have played in two NFCCG's and made a Super Bowl appearance since then. To say the Bears are closer to becoming perennial losers than winners is dumb. Especially when they just, in their first year in a completely new offensive system, went 11-5, won the NFC North and made it all the way to the NFC Championship Game.

Bears > Panthers. Now, then and forever.

You lose again, bobby. Why do you keep trying?

My team has no coach or QB at the moment. I Are sad //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

No need to call them the greatest franchise of all-time or say that you have a super star franchise QB either. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

not a bears fan at all ( I am a CUTLER fan tho )

and even I recognize the greatness that is the Chicago Bears...

they are 1 of the most notorious teams in the NFL.. and for good reason.

their franchise record speaks volumes...period..

I never said they weren't one of the most storied franchises ever, but trying to say they are the GREATEST is a little far fetched.

They aren't even in the top 5 all-time in post-season wins....

& Pittsburgh's 6 SB titles > Chicago's 8 Championships & 1 SB title

.....6 of those titles came in the 20's & 40's when there weren't but 7 or 8 teams.
