Lol @ NorthWestern... OSU pwning...

The loser of the game would have to drop some in the rankings. I mean that is what happens throughout the college football season. If a team loses a game they drop down in the rankings. Then said team has to work their way back up the standings week by week. I believe not dropping the loser of the OSU vs Michigan game would be wrong.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eyebrow.gif.fe2c18d8720fe8c7eaed347b21ea05a5.gif Playoffs FTMFW!//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/yumyum.gif.0556df42231b304b9c995aefd13928a8.gif
so you are telling me that usc would deserve to play in the title game if michigan looses to ohio state? usc's one loss came to oregon state and michigan's came to ohio state, but because michigan lost their game at the end of the season, they don't deserve to play for a title? if michigan beats ohio state, they will atleast fall to 2

IMO I don't see USC running the table. They have a couple of tough games left on their schedule. I think the big10 and pac10 need conference championship games like the SEC Big12 ACC etc have.

I expect the winner of the SEC championship game to get a crack at the winner of OSU Michigan for the National Championship.

Conference championships ftw.

instead of having conference championships, use them as playoffs and involve each conference against each other, so the regular season big 10 winner plays sec reg. season winner, and big 12 plays pac 10 etc. to determine your bcs bowl matchups

I could see conference championship winners moving on to play winners of other conference championships.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

IMO the people that make these decisions about BCS or playoffs etc really don't care about determining a true national champion. It's all about the benjamins baby:crap: There is so much money tied into the bowl system that the powers that be will never seek out a solution.

It really sucks because there is nothing more I would like to see than a playoff system to determine the national championship every year.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/veryhappy.gif.fec4fed33b4a1279cf10bdd45a039dae.gif

Are you still bitter about Michigan kicking the gators *** during the 2002 bowl game?//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif
Not really that is in the past.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/blackeye.gif.66a1670f5aaf7f406e783a63e3387dc5.gif

I think it will be a bigger win in the national championship game if the gators beat the team that has been ranked number one all year. It just wouldn't be as sweet beating the likes of michigan:laugh:
