Location of tweeters and door modification

My tweeters are currently located on the dash, but is it better to have them on the door?

Also, I would like to be able to see my 6.5s, but my door panel doesn't allow that. Is there anyway to modify it to be able to have the speakers sticking out?

Imaging is best when the tweeter is located as close to the mid as possible. You could make some kick pods, or fiberglass some door pods.

hmm ill have to see if local shop makes them. and will need to move tweeters to door, dont really like it up in the dash either. wonder why there there's a holder for a tweeter anyway.
