Location for a slot port with 2 12's

Will I run into problems running a slot port with two subs? I'd prefer a slot to keep the net volume up and ease of install, but am wondering on the effect of not locating it between each sub.

ALso-Holy **** on the db increase using the right sized box(at least on winisd). usually I ran prefab sealed boxes with 2 12''s. I can't wait to hear what 3.5 net cubes sounds like.
