LOC help

[TC2k15x2 10+ year member]

So why does the LOC have 5 wires running from it? Its a two channel LOC and it has 2 White wires, 2 grey, and 1 black.

Im guessing its

White- positive

Grey- Negative

Black- Ground

white and grey = to tap from the speakers

black = not 100% sure but sounds like ground

which loc is it

oh, and 1 white and 1 grey = positive

then the other white and grey (should have a black line) = negative

Hold on so I only have to tap into one rear speaker or both?

Not sure on brand ill have to look. I bought it from Circuit city if that helps.

ok the black wire is the ground for sure. the white ones should have one black line through one, which is the negative for that channel. The gray should too. splice into your rear speaker wires being sure not to cut through them, which is a pain in the ass to fix. You will have to use both signals from your rear right and rear left speaker channels. read the manual of the loc to see if the white is the right channel or left. if you need any help PM me cause ive had alot of crap dealing with locs for my friends.
