Only loading it down to 11 volts was the target, because when you throw an alternator into the scenario while a car is running/ at charging voltage and amperage you'll be in the mid to high 12s ballpark typically. Will vary based off of the size of the alternator, but regardless, this battery is a beast.

3) 15 second load tests back to back. in about a 1 minute span of time.

1st pull, 11.00 volts holding a 450 amps

2nd pull, 10.95 volts holding just over 450 amps

3rd pull 10.84 volts holding right at 500 amps.

not bad for a budget battery.

This battery is the EXACT same build design and technology as the Northstar SMSAGM400, only it is 1/4 the size, and under $200. We worked very hard with Northstar to make this happen and the results are outstanding! Enjoy the video.

One thing i'd like to note, is this batteries starting voltage was at 12.6 volts due to being benched over and over again at northstar to clear quality control before i took it to the competitor brand to have load tested.

This battery rests right at 13 volts. If i took it there fully charged up we would see even better numbers than this video shows,

And as you can see, this tiny 40AH northstar at 35lbs even starting out partly discharged beats or meets the performance of any 70lb group 31 110AH+ sized agm battery on the market, and at under $200.
