Load question for a old school PPI.

My uncle is buying my PC275 but he wants to run all 4 of his 6x9's off of it. in normal circumstances this would be ok , but............... he has 2 pairs of excelon 6x9's that are rated at 3 ohms (2 parralel would make 1.5 ohms) . do you think after the long runs of 16 ga. cable that feed all 4 , that by the time we calculate the resistance of the wire that he will be near the safe 2 ohms per channel?

I don't think it'll be a problem, but I'd check the impedance with a dmm just to be safe. It may actually be closer to 2 ohms than you think...

Should be fine with that amp. Those older PPI's are pretty sturdy when it comes to running lower ohm loads.
