JL w6 will sound outstanding. I've heard them. They don't discrimante. Whether its natural bass or synthesized. Smooth transition, lots of impact.

And yes it gets loud. Don't know what some may be talking about when they say JL's don't get loud. FWIW, I hit 144db's on two 12w3v2's and just a 500/1. 13w6 pushes as much air as 1.75 12W3V3's, so one will probably move about as much air as two v2's.

Put that sucker on 500w continuous and it will sound great
