How do i get rid of that nasty sss sound from the tweeters when the singer says a word that starts with an "S". What frequencies do i need to cut? Thanks!

Sibilance sux. I thought it was around 5khz but I could ber wrong.

Equalizer, or relocating and/or aiming your tweeters (if this is easier and cheaper for you to try first).

EDIT: Missed the part of your post where you obviously already know that some equalization would help it. I think Beats' right, that it's in the 5khz area.

Double Edit: To be more general, it's typically in the 4khz - 8khz area.
