As a teen in the the late 90's Hybrid theory changed my life. I listened to that album until it didn't work anymore and then some more. I listened to Hybrid Theory, Re-Animation and Meteora and then we went our separate ways. I look back now and its a funny sort of nostalgia the things I listened and obsessed over but I can't regret it.

As a person who has battled with depression and in a sense conquered it, it pains me to see these all these suicides in the news. Some of the latest ones have impacted me the most because they are people that I have looked to for strength in some of my darkest moments and their music or movies have all impacted me in some way over the course of my life.

I wish I could go back to the days when I had Hybrid Theory on blast. I'm glad nobody told me how hard life was going to get sometimes, and it is scary to think that I probably haven't even gone through the hardest things in my life yet. Regardless of what anybody says, the world got a little darker today.

Here is to hoping that none of us are ever in a place so dark you can't see the end.

Being a person whose life has been touched by *******, my heart aches for those that are left behind, trying to figure out why they didn't see the signs that lead up to him thinking the only solution was to end it all. We never know what personal demons the people around us, even our loved ones, are battling on a day to day basis. I am not familiar with his work, but I am too familiar with what his circle is going through right now.

I haven't keep up with the band much in the last decade or so, but briefly looked into their newest album when news broke. Their last album had ******* written all over it. Just google the track listings. Either way, the guy could definitely sing/scream.

Hybrid Theory album was pretty good. There was a few more songs that I like on the floowing album....have no idea of the title for that album.
RIP Chester.....Linkin Park won't be the same w/o ya.

Reanimation. Meteora was the last thing i really paid any attention to as Minutes to Midnight didnt really do anything for me. When Need For Speed came out, the closing song "Roads Untraveled" reintroduced me to them, but they turned on the swearing switch by then and that turned me off. In either event, it just seems that too many artists have passed in recent years, either by their own hands or otherwise.

This is exactly why im not good with the comedians trying to make light of this. The part that disgusts me the most is that some of them even remember Jordan, a former member who committed ******* (rest his soul). Im friends with his mother and sister and bore witness to the heartbreak they suffered. ******* has either become far more rampant as of late, or the social media access has just brought it to light and is showing is to be as bad as it is.

Maybe my CD player was dysfunctional, or maybe I didn't store it correctly when outside of the CD player! haha Jesus! Technically the data is underneath the top layer.

The laser reads smooth reflective areas and bumps that are not reflective on the bottom face of the CD's.
