lincoln LS any good?

lincoln ls sure does look like a sweet luxury car
grandprix- that expo is pretty much exactly same with mine when it was stock lol besides the fact that mine is a 04

ya i would like the lincoln looks like its sold. the add got taken down, to bad i did not take the guys number before the add went down. and ya it is basically just like yours. lol. would prob look the same to. i want some 22s.

hmm you get an new car and your gunna have to change your user name
ya lol.

That is still a decent deal. No longer a steal, but definitely a deal (given everything works).

And it still has under 100k miles.

That is an 04 V8 Sport Trim. And I must add, the silver LS's with tinted windows look sexy as hell. It has a 6 disc changer in it and dual climate control.

And to the guy that mentioned it, yes it is definitely a cool 'luxury' car. The V8s can throw you in your seat and you are comfortable whilst doing it. I love mine.

One thing to note, if you plan on carrying people in the backseat often, take note that the leg room back there sucks - it is designed so the feet of rear passengers sit under the front seats. Thats how cramped it is. I hardly have rear passengers so its cool with me lol, I just tell ppl to deal with it!

If you are close and actually want it, I would go take it for a drive and check it out. I bet you can talk him down, and I will tell you some stuff about what to look for to make the guy aware that you know the car well - I bet you could get him down a bit.

ya im going to go check it out. im not far at all from him. only think, i don't know how good it will be in the snow. wont be able to untill the weekend though. but i really still dont no if i want a car, ive been drivng my moms mountineer and ive been wanting an SUV........but if this LS is in good condition and he will work on the price, id pick it up. i got a mechanic that will check everything over for me. so if i like it im going to take it to him.

Ls are nice but the v8 motors are junk. Just research the problems with the v8. I got to the car auctions for dealers(friend of mine owns a lot) and pretty much no one will buy them unless they are retarted cheap.

LS6 is rumored to have more problems than the LS8 Stephen.

It just can't be said for sure since there is no real way to research that. But it is a FACT that V8s are easier to work on. Thus labor costs for anyone who is not a DIY will be higher for a V6.

Also I might add that the V6 gets hardly noticeable more gas mileage than the V8. These cars are heavy as balls.

And by no means is there alot of room to work in these things:

they are sweet cars Fast, handle good, stop great, we crashed my friends Ls and it was a safe car, HIGH SPEED ROLL OVER and over and over... no injurys at all. and he had 150,000 with not a single issue. but they rattle alot with bump in the trunk.

my .02 is buy it

Very unreliable... A friend of mine had a V6 + V8 at different points and just had tons of issues with them. Great looking car and the V8 is pretty quick but garbage build quality.
Lies, he doesnt have friends, doesnt even own the cars in his signature, just a punk *** kid who likes to pretend to be big on the internet

Yup it is the 3.9 V8. Same as the Ford Thunderbird. It is quick, but still slow in comparison to other V8s. There are some people who have supercharged them, but still... its a 3.9 in a heavy *** car. Not meant to be a race car by any means.

^^ yeah but still it is somewhat powerful

My 04 got 4.6L V8 SOHC and I would say it got plenty of power considering my SUV is big and heavy..

I am loving the power I am getting out of my Explorer, but I am even thinking about adding turbo or supercharger to my explorer as well, I always have loved the idea of sleeper vehicles, I could just be fast if I wanted to..

I would say this LS 3.9 V8 is nice nonetheless, there are plenty of mods you can do to this car to make it faster..

Actually I have to admit Im pretty impressed with how those LS looks inside and outside after you showed the pics.. I wouldn't mind owning one of those since I always have wanted like a Crown Victoria or something like that, I always have thought it is awesome- strong, heavy, big, plenty of room, and easy to make it look good with rims or anything..

My grandmother drives back and forth to Atlanta several times a week in hers (3 hour drive each way) and had 11X.XXX miles last time I saw. She'd had no big problems with it, just regular maintenance.
