Limewire..

My limewire wont connect so i can download any songs. Does anyone know how to change this? any help would be awesome!

mine did that on a regular basis........ you could uninstall and reinstall but this also means you will loose all your music and have to re download it all //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

If it is not connecting upon opening, File>Connect. Otherwise it is your firewall/limewire settings.

no you wont loose all your music, you just have to move it out of the shared folder which is in the C:\documents and setting\(your user name)\shared

thats if you run windows XP

I tried to go to file>connect ..

How could i change the firewall.. would i go to my norton?

ahh, if you havent already found it, there is one last step that you have to do on the limewire homepage that you have to click on for it to connect.

For some reason i could never do this if i would move it to a diffrent folder and get rid of it on limewire it would not play and say file error?

windows could be stopping lime wire if the windows fire wall is turned on. if you have a norton fire wall you can turn off the windows one and norton will use its fire wall

Set the save folder to somewhere else in your settings. Dont manually move.
