so i use limewire to get my music and i have like 11,000 songs. and i hear about ppl getting sued and stuff for using some of these sites to download music, and im wondering if limewire is a dangerous one? they should not be able to sue anyone who uses it because its file sharing for free so if i download a song i am just getting it from someone elses computer and so on.....

It blocks other people from trying to access your computer...basically a firewall, but more effective...

When you first install it it will ask you what kind of things you want to block, I checked everything but education sites just because I don't want it to block Cal Poly, but I usually just turn it off when it starts going crazy then back on when i am done with a site...
Tried it with Amazon and it didn't block it when I made a purchase, lol...but you have to be watchful, you will see it blink and if its something important, turn it off immediately before it completely blocks your request...
