Excellent CD deck and you can get Ipod, changer, mp3 modules. it does already have Aux in, and there might be digital on the back?

Dead-head(no distortion), Hi voltage outs, balanced and unbalanced, Front AND Rear HI|MID|LO, parametric EQ, time alignment, and the list goes on for those who don't know about this deck.

Ive got an 8053 sitting in my closet right now. I hooked it up and getting it to sound good/tuning my speakers was way over my head. Its got way too many sound adjustments and things that I really didnt know how to use. I ended up buying an 8445 and it sounds great.

it doesn't play mp3s, right? and is the aux in like the pioneer where you have to have another unit to actually plug something in?

I'm still debating, its this or a pio 880, and i've had pioneers, never had an eclipse, i really want to try one.
