ok I have a refurb 1100D Directed amp. I had it all wired up and everything. 4 gauge wires for poer and ground. I hook it up and the lights are flickering (and no bass) so i rev the engine to get it some more current. lights stop flickering.... but i blew my 80amp fuse! Get a new 80 amp fuse and the unhook the speakers. Lights still flickering.... what is going on?!

haha thanx lol.... anyways. i regrounded everthing. and now i have 3 amp fuses blown! ugh! so is it the amp? i am thinking about jus shipping it back to ike....

make sure your power wire is intact under the hood. if it got loose and got burned for instance it will blow your fuse and might really **** up your car.

this happended to me i was in a huge hurry and forgot to zip tie the power wire to anything under the hood. it got burned and touched metal i guess. it blew my fuse and a really nice infinity kappa 5 chanell amp.

good luck
