lights dimming

i got 2 1000 watt amps mono to 2 12 inch kicker subs, 4 gauge from battery to 2 farad cap and then amps. 4 gauge ground. 8 gauge speaker cable. what do i need to do to keep my lights from dimming?

will a 250 amp alternator do the trick and if so which will be the best. oh its on a 2006 chevy trailblazer 4.2l

what kind of amps? getting rid of the cap would help, maybe throwing an extra batt in the back.

bad ground! clean all your ground's in your car/truck upgrade them under the hood clean the paint/rust were you ground at including under the hood.i had a grandam and the little tiny ground that went from the batt to the fender was well just fugly I replaced it with 8 gauge and cleaned the grounding point never had a dimming problem again
