hey i have an xterra its almost the same , best thing to do is either get the PML...which is just shackles which maybe like 100...then u just crank ur torsion bars in the front...or u can make ur own body kit also... im part of clubxterra.org and i think they have a clubtitan.org but if not check the xterra one out i kno they can help u
It all depend on the vehicle. Suspension lift is the way to go if you want to keep you truck from looking like it is coming apart. Body lifts tend to make very visible gaps between the frame rails and the body.
^^ Exactly, body lifts if not done right can look like crap. Most you will get is 3" and even that is pretty big, also changes the structural integrity of the vehicle in an accident. Biggest thing will be getting your bumpers to move up as the body moves up.
Also do you have electric fans on the radiator or a normal fan? Might have to trim the radiator shroud or remove it depending on how much the body goes up. Hoses and steering linkage may also get stressed. Not saying it can't be done but it affects a lot of things when moving the body up and is still a good bit of work.
The suggestion about about shackles and tightening the torsion bars, or if you have coils up front you could get coil spring spacers. Probably can get about 2" out of something like this as well.
i dont offroad or anything i just want something lifted a little.... suspension lifts are expensive compared to a body lift which is why im asking. are their any bad things to a bodylift besides i wont get clearance, ect?
