lift kit

Im thinking about buying a lift kit for my '04 dodge ram 1500. I dont know where to even start looking other than ebay and I dont know what brands that I should be looking for. I see alot of kits that are for 4x4 but mine is 2x4 so will it not work? Any help would be appreciated

all these are good and it donest matter if its 2wd or 4..u can lift it..but make sure the kit is for 2wd. cuz some parts are different...

what kind of lift u doing body or suspension?

I'd look into BDS Suspensions. Costs a bit more but they have a Lifetime, no fine print, warranty.

dont check ebay for those kind of kits. Honestly you would be better off checkin prices at local places that deal with 4x4 and stuff like that. Do a yahoo search on it. Some info and prices will come up good luck

Fabtech is the only one that makes a decent kit for the 2 wheel drive dodges.

People say lifting a 2wd truck is ghey I think lifting a 4wd that you just drive on the pavement is way dumber. Lifting a truck you drive on the road is a waste I have been there and learned.

its the look to it..i guarentee u when most ppl look at a truck they have no fawkin idea if its a 2 or wheel drive..even when the sticker is on there...

i have a 2 wd xterra and ive done a small 2 inch suspension lift... its just look really and i take it out to the forest and the mud every now and then...

go for a performance suspension instead of a drop bracket lift.
