I have personally watched a 3512 running off of a 150.1 and ate it up on burps with no bottoming out or distortion. Mind you we ran it on a term lab for tuning all day to make proper car/box adjustments. The spiders still stayed solid and no cone separation. Just because you don't think something is right does not make it a fact.

i would recomend the american bass hd series 12s for a daily and if you wanted spl get the xfl versions the hd2 i have and its awesome in its box! also 3000watts peak but really underated 1500 watts rms THANK YOU

smh. you got this all wrong and backwards man. The american bass HD's are some of the better SPL subs AB makes. The XFL's are good but the HD's dominate over them. My XFL's are pushing higher 140's, both of my teammates HD's are running low to mid 150's.

Since when is a 900rms sub a SPL driver lol... I love it when people say that cuz there aren't many subs that are actually strictly SPL subs...

in 04 pr-festiva beat me with 3x I wanna say Hollywood 8's with an old school memphis 1000.1. Those 8's cost him $5 a piece and were like 250W peak. Not to mention he's pushing to get a 150 or higher with a/some Memphis PR's . LMAO

At 1 ohm? What was rise? Clamp? How many burps? At what frequency? What were the scores? Did you test versus anything else? Box specs?

Burping a 3k at 1 ohm nominal in a tiny box at higher frequencies a few times is not "feeding it 3k all day." I put 3k to some $23 Pyle 10's during testing and it/they held up. I suppose they're on par with a 3512 then.

Maybe you should learn how to read and stop misleading people into thinking i'm saying something different then what I stated! This whole time ive been talking about this sub in this thread, ive mentioned SPL which means burping, sweeping and putting higher then normal power on it. Stop assuming stuff to try and make yourself feel smart and other people stupid when you don't even read things thoroughly.

I guess the 1st place finish I got this past saturday for highest SPL average ON MUSIC as well as 2nd place overall finish in port wars (162.2) shows how much of a "newb" I am huh? Maybe the all time league record I broke at the same event shows how I don't know a **** thing huh? Why don't you get back to spoonin your cousin and GTFO of here.

Real talk... A 3500 will not take 3k daily. When you say things like "I would feed it 3k all day. And it would take it," you have to qualify that statement. Say, "we did some testing with one and it took a 3k amp at 1 ohm for 10-15 burps," or something. Don't pretend like its a magical sub or you're a freakin genius that can get away with running triple rated to your woofers.

The reason I say this is because this is how guys who don't know any better tear **** up. They hear some jack hole on a teh interwebz guaranteeing that a 1k sub can take a 10k amp and then they're surprised that they need a recone.

I'm not ignorant by any means. I may have more experience with the sub in question than you do. And I'm certainly not a moron. Inbred? Nope. Although my cousin is fine as **** and don't think that **** hasn't crossed my mind. Lmao.

Ok, real talk then from me. It's hard to describe something through text when it can be looked at so many ways. When I said all day, I meant exactly what I said when it comes to SPL. Same as what I said the HD's. That was it and that is all I was ever talking about. Not 3k continuous all day long 24 hours of a day.

That port score only lost because I was up against a teammate that was burping mid 150's on the regular running aero. He hit 168.x. I have a basic ported box. My second run average was 146.1 on 2x 12's and a 150.1. Out of 2 runs, the all time leader score was 288.9. I just broke that with a 290 and I had an issue in my first run. You are no king kong dude, idgaf what you think your resume says. I have proof and dont just talk.

Oh yeah, did I mention that was my first ever event with this organization as well? My first show and blew the next person on the podium in my class out of the water by 8+ db aaaaaaaaaaand broke the all time league record. All on stock battery and alt too. STFU dude
