Let's talk alternators

Excessive amperage DC power

Ohio gen

Are the only companies I'd spend my money with from dealing with all the alternator companies in the past. I've pretty much used them all or have friends that use them

Mechman- alternator failed

DC power- greatt alts prly most $$$ though

Singer- regulator issues and I've had one rectifier fail before

Excessive amperage- love them and no problems so far, life time warranty

Js alts- my buddy's on his trailblazer just failed

Ohio gen- talked with Tom at world finals and he knows his shlt! If I ever switch from excessive I'm going Ohio gen, Tom is the inventor of the external regulator/aka blue box, this guy knows what he's doing.

Tenny- broken right out the box, sent it back and got a new one, used it for a month and then sold it. Crap
Loooooooollllll!!!! Rofl!!!!!

Tom inventor of the blue box? Really tho?

Do you understand the "blue box" was originally made by the owner of lincoln when they came out with limousines.

Those ext regulators are mainly used in limos and the alt companies used them for more output.

They had ext regulators since alternators started being made for vehicles

Thanks bro

A good question is, are you willing to spend extra cash for a much better alt? or do you want to keep it cheap and get something that is cheap? The parts used in the previously mentioned companies (except DC and sometimes Singer) are cheap aftermarket and often reman parts - straight garbage. There is a reason why some alts are cheap and others are a bit pricey.
