i like those jbl subs for the price. i bought at least 10 off ebay auctions this summer. all brand new, and all under 25$. i got a pair of 10's for 13$//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/greedy.gif.5a53e6246569d7ab79867170f3b06629.gif the 10's and the 12's are pretty good subs.

I swear to myself i would never walk into a car audio shop again. You don't even wanna know how much i paid for those subs. Its the only reason why i'm still using them because it cost me a fortune so i plan to use it until the day that it dies.

But i'm planning to do an upgrade soon.

Yea i had to take out my pa3000d cause it blew. I don't know what happened but it just never came back on.

On the inside, the board is fine so i'm thinking that its the rca inputs.

Trying to save up $120 to send it back to power acoustic for a new board.

just upgrade to a ported box, and keep the subs. it may be enough for you. they sound good in 1.85, tuned to 34hz per sub. so 3.7 cubes tuned to 34 hz for the 2 of them.

oh nah i didn't pay that much for them. I would have bought some mojos if they were that high. I paid like 300 for them.

I figured that i would bring some business to a local shop and help them out and shit. So i was willing to pay an extra $50 or less and it would have been cool.

I went home got on ebay and saw that they were like $60 a piece shipped brand new.

those bazooka subs will get pretty loud ported. seriously. they'll last about 6 months though.

I think i'll give that a try. What is the smallest ported box that you would put them in? Since i don't drive my suv on a daily basis anymore, I think i'm going to install them in my ls400.

i wouldn't go too much under 3.5 cubes for the 2 of them. they'll get pretty loud. they have a fairly smooth sound from low to high.
