you're crazy brad nails and titebond, and you can finish that box in 25min1 - I dont have a nail gun, and 2 - it doesnt seem like nails would hold as good in a smooth wood like MDF. I dont use screws all that much anyway, titebond 2 is good shit. Most of the time i just screw the sides on because i dont have a clamp 40-50" long to clamp it with. Never had an issue with my methods though and ive built quite a few boxes.
Very true, pre drilling can be quite a pain if you arent careful. I always use the 6mm quick change bits in my dewalt impact and every now and then i snap one off. I have a compressor i can use air tools on but ive never used a nail gun. How much would a basic one to do boxes with be?i dont like to pre-drill holes for screws. nail gun and glue to me is faster and holds up pretty good. to each his own...

I countersink mine and woodfill over the top. Takes an extra 10 minutes tops.boxes with a million screw heads look jacked up when you dont carpet them... look like something from a flea market. they hold up well, but they look hideous and take way too long to build.

the hell if it dont... screwing takes a lot longer than nailing. trust me... you use a nail gun you'll never screw again. remember time is money. the faster you knock out that box, the faster you can get to the next job.I screw and glue as well.
If I had money, I might invest in a nail gun.....But I don't.
Plus, you have to clamp using nails, and I'd rather just scew the shit together. Doesn't take that much longer.
here's a good one for the money... be carefull on them corners. nails could pop out and bust your finger!

you dont need that, but if you must... problem solvedSays it only drives 1" nails, that isnt gonna get me much grip in the wood man. I usually use 1 3/4 - 2" screws.
