I do agree with that point, but IMO this is his version of a protest. He can do so in any way shape or form aslong as he isnt hurting neone.

While I agree with the overall sentiment here I have to come back to the fact that each one of us agreed, by the simple act of completing the forum registration process, to abide by the TOS that I would wager very few, if any, of us actually read.

Like I previously stated - I agree with Phat's motivations. I am in full agreement that the moderation team needed to be granted temporary ban powers. Unfortunately, again like I have already stated, Phat's actions painted Goob into a corner where he really had no other option.

Is this particular bit of eDrama the first blatant violation of CA.com's TOS? I am certain that it isn't. Raisedin305 posting a picture of his genetalia is one outstanding example I can think of right offhand and I have not, as yet, seen there be any consequence to that action ~ and I wholeheartedly disagree with that lack of consequence; my personal feelings about the moron in question notwithstanding.

Phat knew he ran the risk of bannage before this little pet project even got off the ground. Unfortunately he and WeGayed seem to be the only recipients of any sort of consequence and that I strongly disagree with as well.

At the end of the day, however, I am neither part of the mod team nor did Goob ask for my opinions on the matter asked before punishment was handed down so I don't guess what I think about it matters much!
