Well, between the expectation that we (my sister and I) apply ourselves in school there was also the mandatory manners thing......basing this off the way you speak/type, but it looks like you turned out very well.

Mom was a teacher for many years then a sales rep for a textbook publisher so, in essence, still a teacher.
