Got this box for my two kicker Solo-baric S15 L7's. I know it could be bigger, but this is my first box, It leaves me room to upgrade later. Dimensions (W x H x D): 40.5" x 17" x 17.5" , Port Tuned to 38Hz, 3/4" MDF.

what I think is that it looks like a prefab and it's tuned way too high. $.02
does look like a typical pre-fab. You could surely get allot more output from those 15's with another enclosure.. but if you just want some sound... it will do that. Could get allot better performance out of them though with a bigger box tuned between 32-38.. which ever suits you the best.

I know it isn't near "show quality" but I needed an enclosure that would be here when my subs got in. And of course with my luck, they sent me the wrong subs on thursday, so UPS has to come pick them up and ship them back on monday. They sent me L5's instead of the L7's I ordered. But I'm not planning on running any competitions with this box. Maybe in another 6 months I'll go with a custom box. I'm just hoping that with the big 3 and a yellow top optima, I won't have any dimming with a KX2500.1 .

I've heard someone w/ two 12" L7s in a prefab that looked just like taht and they were just loud... mostly punchy bass.

I was intending on having a custom box made by the guy I'm having install it all. But then all of that happened. if you have a huge trunk, I have a plan for. Dual slot port (seperate chamber), 3 cubes per chamber tuned to 32hz.

I have a SuperCab F-150, I have plenty of room to work with as I'm taking out the back seats. I had planned on at least 3 Cubes per sub, until this was thrust upon me.

it all depends what kind of sound hes after...
it also depends what port lenght calculator was to calculate the tuneing... if you were to use winisd and tune it to 38hz it will effectivly play down to about 32 before the driver starts to unload..
