I was told that a T2 take a lot of power to get to its full potential (get loud) but a L7 get loud off less watts so if I give the L7 the same power as the T2 will the L7 get louder all I want is some serious spl

Yes all this means is that the l7 are more efficient. I am not for sure which one is more efficient but if you were told this by a realiable person its probaly right. You can go to the manufacturer's website and looks for the exaclt numbers to see for yourself.
