Leroi Moore 1961-2008

Just heard and read a little bit about the situation. Leroi Moore is the saxophonist for the Dave Matthews Band. He was a wonderful musician and he will be missed greatly by not only his band members, but also all of his fans! R.I.P. Leroi, i hope its better where you are.

They have a memorial page as the home page. I havent really searched more than that because i have gone to a few of their concerts and knew a lot about the situation anyways. He was riding an ATV in the middle of June when he wrecked and punctured a lung. He was sent home very recently for a long rehabilitation process and was pronounced dead tuesday august 19th.

yeah hahah Trey803 is my cousin and a huge Dave fan as well. I figured he would know about it, but didnt guess that he started a thread.

that is the main band in my music collection. I have his discography excluding a couple live trax ablums. There just isnt another band even remotely close to DMB still playing, IMO. Maybe the white guy that filled in on his summer tour when leroi was injured will join up with the band. He was pretty nasty too.
