or thats what i thought i heard. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif

i dont give a fawk, i use torrents all the time

Just do this. I went and got napster for one month, i got unlimited downloads for that month. I thought of everypossible song i wanted and downloaded it. For 15 bux it was totally worth it, and it was LEGAL!

what do you want the file sharing application to do? I mean there isn't really a "legal" download of free songs .. as far as i know.. but what are you trying to do. there have been recent developements, that allow you to make your own private p2p server and share files amoungst a group of people

i don't care if it's legal or not, but my laptop isn't connected right now so i have to use my dad's computer.....he got an email concerning limewire(which i had downloaded) and said i have to find something legal.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif

oh, to get rid of that problem, just disable sharing in any p2p application. problem solved. i would get rid of limewire, in my experience it slows down most computers. but yea, just disable sharing and you will be fine.

You wont find a free 100% legal file sharing program.

The legal ones you have to pay for like napster.

Your best bet is to download peerguardian (http://methlabs.org) and install it so that it blocks P2P attacks and a number of others as well. Ive had the RIAA try to connect to me 50+ times and peerguardian has blocked them all.

Then once you have that, then download Limewire or Bearshare. Both seem pretty equivalent to each other.

won't you still be downloading from those who are sharing though?

i paid for a month of napster (the 10 dollar one, not the 15 dollar that allows mobile devices) and after i spent like 8 hours downloading a bunch of music that i mostly paid for in the past anyway, i put it all on a cd, and it wouldn't play on my car's mp3 player, just said protected content.

would the 15 dollar a month napster let me put files on a cd, if not which service will let me do what i want with the files after i get them?

Good luck finding a free program do download songs on //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif
