Left side of components not as loud as right side??

The other day I thought my left side components were not as loud as my right..So I faded to my left, and sure enough, they are not...Replugged in the RCAs, checked connections on my amp , and all that good stuff...Can't find anything wrong..

Any ideas?

measure your left/right voltage at every possible point and find where it drops

Hmm I have that problem. Only the other way around. My left side is louder than the right. I put the dmm on the amp it even says so. By about 2.5 volts.

I don't care since I can adjust speaker gain on my HU.

or slightly melted it changing the resistance. open them bishes up n take a look. I would check out your amp guts also

I think it may be the amp..A while back my RCAs broke off in the input part..I had to get a syringe to get them out and then my amp acted all funny. It wouldnt work when the RCAs were plugged in the input..Put them on the output part and they worked... Well earlier i was cleaning my vehicle and messed around with the amp..When the lowpass was ON or OFF the speakers wouldn't play..When it is in between ON and OFF they play...

Blah..
