i would also consider wiring a switch as well so that during the day you dont have the LED's on when you really cant see them. lights will last longer when you can turn them on and off as you wish.

Honestly im not really sure.

So i should wire it to the ignition and ground it correct? Will the ignition give power to the LEDs?

Will this be taking out too much power though sense i already have a amp hooked up to the radio.

this.. only thing with this is you might forget em..

what you can do is split a wire off the accessories.. have one go to the radio and one go to a switch wired to the leds so that way no matter what they turn off with the car but also with the swtich.. you can run a ground from the battery

yeah it should get power from the ignition wire you can always ground it to the firewall which is normally right behind and that would be a deffenite ground

Alright i might do that. Do you think everything will work out and not too much power will be taking away?

I am also wondering when you say accessories are you talking about the ignition wire?

I got a idea i might do sense i am worried about it taking power out from my Radio sense i have amp hooked up to it.

I might wire it to my 12v battery and put a switch on the line so i can turn them on and off when i want so they wont burn down my battery when they are not in use. What do you think about that? That sounds like it will take more wire but might be better sense i will be getting a direct 12v source. But im just scared that when i turn them off it might still drain some power from my battery.
