Led

get a 12v DC wall adapter. they will usually pull like 3 amps. the big black box thingies.

then get one of these DC powerjacks...

and then solder a small 16~20awg PAIR of wires to the +\- terminals to the 12v dc jack, and calculate the resistor for your LED. this wall adaptor will only pull .8amps. so an average LED will take about .02amps. you should have plent of power to run mutiple LEDs off this powersource.

this LED calculator should help you figure out the resistor for the LEDs so you can run the led off the 12v source.

http://www.lsdiodes.com is a great source for LEDs\wire\resistors, and they have some good tutorials on how to solder them where they should go.

i hope that clears up your question. but you will have to have an extra plug into the wall on top of that clock just to make the lights work.

if you got teh balls, you might check the ACadaptor for the clock, and see if it can support more current that the clock needs, and wire your leds right into your clocks powersource. thats what id do. but the ac adaptor will work for any mod you decide to do.

four LEDs with a voltage rating of atleast 3.5 volts, and some wire
Humor me here...

3.5 volts ea, or total? And to wire them, would i just splice them directly into my remote lead wire in the headunit? Oh, and, since im running my speakres off the HU, (yeah yeah, poormans solution) would the leds take away any 'power' from them?
