Hi all, nice forum you got here. =P
So I've got an Expedition...Eddie Bauer Maroon w/ gold and chrome accents. I've started doing some custom work to the interior. I've started painting some panels, got a Rockford Fosgate 900W amp with 2 MTX 4500s in the back, installed everything myself and on a budget, I'm a student. I'll be getting a HU soon...either one of the Pioneer or JVC ones that works with MotionX Drive on my iPhone. One thing I'm not sure about is lighting. I'm thinking LED strips but not sure where to get some for a good deal. I want to run red ones under the dash, under front/rear seats, in the center console (slots i guess you'd call them), and the front/rear door (slots i guess again lol). I'm estimating I'll need about 20' total so anyone have any suggestions on strips or possible a better route? I've read in some places that there are strips you can cut and easily re-connect with connecting cables, anything easy like this you guys can suggest? Or is there a better method you'd recommend for lighting up all the space in this big *** suv?
