That's cool, I played for EA sports/EBO for two summers, then switched to a Adidas Pump-n-run squad, worst decision of my life. You guys played in the open divion? What position?

U16 with the breakers then U17 with WW in Florida. I played an undersized PF at 6'6". Your from Vegas? They have the real big tourney out there for AAU.

I used to play year round, from about 6th grade all the way through high school. Went to AAU nationals a couple of times, and went to BCI nationals four or five times...best we ever did was 7th at BCI nationals. Those were the good ol' days...
I also played with Kurt Thomas, Tim Hardaway, and R. Kelly one Saturday morning...pretty cool for me. Old Hardaway tried to pull the killer crossover on me, and I ripped him...best feeling of my life.

R. Kelly too? That game was full of win....

All the good tourneys are here, but theyve changed them,my HS still ost AAU games. I ws strictly a 2, did pretty good, averaged 20ppg in the '02 Big Time. My HS went 35-1 my senior year, only lost to Oak Hill. Cheyenne HS, Lorenzo Wade from Louisville 05 final four squad was my teammate. He just finished at San Diego state.

you went prep? Oak Hill as in Oak Hill Academy? I played for one year at Fork Union Military Academy (Oak Hill rival) in Virginia before I returned home. if you played on a good level AAU team your bound to come across a few NBA players.

We played them in the holiday tourney in vegas, lost by seven. Marcus Williams of UConn killed us with his passing. I did go to prep, but only for like 4 mos, Patterson School, they had us 18 deep in a 12 passenger van for games. wtf???

ahaha yeah I only played half a year, and went home. Didnt want to deal with the military school aspect, now that I look back I wish I stayed probly would have played D1 college ball if I did. Fork Union had money out the ***, so charter buses were the travel method unless it was real close. Fork Union was know more for football though, SOOOOO may NFL players went there. Only one NBA player, Jason Williams.

The Patterson School is real close to Fork Union, surprised they werent on the schedule. I was there in 05 but wasnt Post grad, was a Junior

Yeah, this was right around the time of the pissing scandal, too. My friend's dad belongs to a country club type of place called The Varanda here in Dallas. I'd played against Hardaway there a couple of times before, but I had no idea why Kurt Thomas was there. Kelley had a concert that night so I guess they all just decided to come up...he had a ~20 man entourage too, pretty silly for a trip to a lonely old gym.

Just played middle shcool and Freshman year in HS, nothing more......besides the local court.

I feel ya, age gets to you. Im not even that old but cant even play on consecutive days outside because of injuries and whatnot.

What a retarded thread. Lebron is 24 with like 6 season of NBA experience. of course he will dominate in college against 18-20 year olds with no NBA seasoning. What about putting Howard on Davidson? How about Chris Paul? Hell what about Kobe? Is this what you people really think about?
