Well i'm going to be getting one and im not sure if it has auto power on/off.. If it doesnt i want to just leave the fm transmitter on and leave the plug in the cig outlet in....Call me lazy but i see it as being a hassle..

If the power adapter/tranmitter are left on will it drain the battery? There not pulling that much power..

I'd also like to add that its just a power plug not a charger if that matters at all..

thanks d77, i've been getting mixed replies so i wanna be sure..

Of course it will be a drain...your radar detector is a drain. It's just a matter of HOW MUCH of a drain it will be. If you left your car sitting for months your radar detector would drain it eventually...

FM transmitters **** ass from my experience
yea.. i got one at walmart (scoche) just to try it out..Obviously the sq wasnt the greatest but better then i thought. Returned that one..I got a belkin and i'm going to do the antenna mod to get better reception. We'll see how that turns out..
