Bar I used to work at started you as a bar back and moved you up to bartender and just paired you with someone who knew what they were doing so you could ask them questions if you didn't know something

Stuff your pants with polyfill. Drink at the bar every night of the week for 2 years and watch closely. Then you will have your associates in Bard tending.
