LCD Head Unit?

Can anyone suggest a decent LCD head unit that is under 850 dollars that is white or red or black or has red or white LED's or something? I just want it to match with a Red camaro with black interior and white/red floor mats. And do all LCD HU's have visualizations while your listening to music? I know, kinda some stupid questions, sorry.

are you talking about one with a DVD player and 6.5" screen?

or what?

my clarion has white button light p and the touch screen on it shows a red race car going around a track, the screen is pretty clear, its a cool HU with alot of neat features on it, you can put a cd in and hit record on the screen and it will record the cd onton the HU

No.. I'm looking for one with a 7in lcd screen. It doesn't matter if it doesn't play DVD's. I would actually prefer if it didn't. I would just like visualiztions while the music plays and or a touch screen. I like the way they look. As for the color part.. I just want it to match the interior of my car which is red white and black.

Your not going to find one that has visualizations while the music plays. Maybe the new pioneer avic series might do it but I doubt it...

You might be better off with a carputer...

Well I've done a little research and I'm pretty sure I want a carputer now. From what I've read you can make your own? I know how to build computers, etc so I'm thinking of doing this. The problem is I don't know how/where to mount it in my car.

The other thing I was wondering is if they make low low end carputers. Nothing like 1.7ghz /w 512mb ram. I would like to buy one that is like 800-1000 dollars. It doesn't have to play dvds.

Oh and one more thing.. Is the wireless router really needed for just playing music?

building a carputer isn't as easy as it seems. lots to account for. and then getting boot up time down to less than 1 minute, etc.

Well I build computers and do some programming so I kinda know what I'm doing as far as computers. Thanks for the link tho.
