Do you honestly think you can be comiting a crime for having 1800 dollars on you? Do you think that it would be such a rare thing for this to occur?

I had a friend that sold a classic Corvette for $25,000 he had the money in his console for a few days...because he was shopping for a new car.....and was gonna put the money as down payment...anyway about three nights later he got pulled over for a headlight out...the cop asked if he could search his car...my friend said no...well 15...minutes later they had the K9 unit there...I know my friend has never fooled with drugs before in his life...plus he is a big church going guy...The dog barked I think the cops made it bark that gave them reason to search...well they found his money and confiscated it...arrested my friend for something crazy...he ended up losing all his money plus lawyer fees...and ended up buying some junk car to go back and fourth to school in...

i went to go pick up a truck for my dad and had 10k on me in cash to get a better deal at the dealer and got pulled over and searched and they made me prove where i got the money from before they would let me go

wow i wonder if the outcome wouldve changed if the k9 didnt have to come, just tell them what they want to hear and let them do the searching.

But that doesnt always work, once I was pulled over and called out of the car hands up, guns out, just like that. So I complied with everything right away, started chattin.. they were good guys. Told me there was a call about an armed somebody in a car like mine, had a good laugh and went ways.

Imagine telling a cop, yeah I just sold my vette. yeah, 67.. oh thanks .. heres is a picture of us about ugh 13 years ago atop the canyon..yeah sweet photo op. man all I could get for it was this 25g's. SWIPE !&%$@!

Yeah he had all sorts of proof he had just sold the car...he even got a signed affidavit from the guy he sold the car too...all sorts of stuff...It did no good...remember we live in America..."Land of the free...."

Its not that bad here, other places have FAR more corruption then America.

i have been pulled over with 11K that wasnt mine, but a customer that we were going to buy a car for resto. cop asked me about it, gave him a card, we talked, and i went along my merry way....the cop is now a customer.

the problem i see is that most if not all these stories told here are screwed up. if you are cool with the cops and keep them informed of who, what, and why you should have no issues. as soon as you tell a cop he cant search your car and then they find 10K+, you are on the guilty end...automatically. just be cool and tell the story like it is...dont be a ***** and give the guy a hard time or he will book you.

why? if you have a liscence to carry a concealed no biggie or if you have the pistol under your seat and clip locked up in the console or glovebox its no biggie. seriously where do you guys come of thinking cops are gonna freak out?

I have a lisence to carry, and when the cop comes to my window the first thing I let him know, is that I have a gun, and a lisence to carry it, and I have been pulled out of the car for this before. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif
