Yeah me too. I never used to listen to things like Imogen Heap or Jack Johnson but their recording quality warrants it.

i have teared up listening to a few dave matthews songs. I dont think it was from AMAZING imageing because i dont quiet have the best setup in the world, but i do think it was because i felt almost "in" a few of his songs. I have never teared up anywhere listening to music besides my car..... funny i never thought about it

Be honest with you, I never seem satisfied when I listen to my audio's. That was when I have been in th 150db's and even now, trying for SQ. Other people are blowin away by how it sounds. Maybe I am too judgemental or something, I don't know.

I wish I could enjoy it more. Oh well, one day.......one day.

Sound Quality guys....Have you ever found a song that sounded so amazing on your system it just made you tear up? I mean something really great with a perfect recording quality, super low noise floor, great imaging, amazing detail and clarity with a full spectrum of both highs and lows. Now, depending on your setup, your "perfect" song will differ from someone else's song but I know that I found mine last night.
The song is called "The Moment I Said It" by Imogen Heap. I just thought I would share. If someone knows a place I could host it I have a very clean copy of it I'd be willing to share.

In all seriousness yes I have found songs that have "teared me up" in both SQ ways and lyrically deep

And something that is deep lyrically and sound great SQ wise is :

Indeed, I noticed I started listening to more variety, my collection grew large fast after getting into SQ.

Cold Play, "Fix you" listened to it after someone passed away in my family... get's em flowin!

"Fix You" was great IMO, My favorite part of the song is closer to the end where you just hear that guitar strumming and the beat drops its just like fireworks of music in the car, i cant get enough of it

There is a song by Sarah Machalan(sp) "The Silence" that Dj Tiesto remixed, there is one part where the organ sound just dips down then up, its very wild, brings out depth in my stage.
