Beware of Dog!
Ok I have recently required 2 12" RE XXX's D4's and a DD Z1A to run those at 1 ohm. I'm fairly confident that the subs can handle it and I rarely turn it up anyways. I am still debating on whether going sealed or ported with 5.4 cubes tuned to 28hz after port displacement, before sub displacement with 70" of port. (Pic of proposed box design below.) Your opinions are greatly appreciated!
Secondly I picked up a Rockford Fosgate Power 1000. Specs are:
Front/Rear Channels:
4 x 50W @ 4 ohms
4 x 100W @ 2 ohms
4 x 150W @ 1 ohm
2 x 200W @ 4 ohms bridged
2 x 300W @ 2 ohms bridged
Sub Channel:
1 x 300W @ 4 ohms
1 x 600W @ 2 ohms
1 x 800W @ 1 ohm
Does anyone have any suggestions on setups for this amp. I was thinking of running a pair of 8"s on the sub channel for midbass but I have no idea what brand to get. So can you suggest some components and 8"s that you think would work good with this amp.
