My father in law is a manager at autozone. A former employee of his (Eric Lapois, just in case anyone knows of him) works on people's cars on the side.

I needed four ball joints, a pitman arm, and an idler arm replaced.

Eric said he would do it for $100.

So, I gave him the money, the parts, etc.

Picked my truck up the next day, he told me everything was good.

A few weeks later, I went in for an alignment, they called me back into the bay and had me look under my truck.

The ****er replaced one ball joint. So, I called autozone, turns out he returned the parts. My wife, my unborn daughter, and I could have all been killed.

The cops more or less refuse to do anything- they tell me it is a civil matter.

He knows Im looking for his ***** ***.......anytime I see him out driving he gets away as quick as he can.

Thats the only person Ive ever had trouble with in springfield, and I sort of wonder if he would even have the guts to do it......

yep, about 7 months ago.

chev- the damage to the car is an auto claim, the stolen stuff is renters policy claim.
