My dad had it done several years ago, and he still wears reading glasses but that's it- way better than wearing glasses all the time, which he did for 50 years or so.

i had mine done about a year ago, cost me 3800 canadian i went from 20\300 and 20\400 to 20\30 and 20\40 without glasses and 20\20 with. i love it i can actually see it could be better and i could have it touched up but honestly i dno if i even want to. i dont wearing glasses yea it sucks but they have saved my eyes many a times and being basicly blind even with glasses on for 10 years who gives a **** now i can actually see.

the surgery itself i hated but it was extreamly short. took a few minutes thats it, if you get it done on a friday you "can " go back to work on monday. you might need a pair of sunglasses though.

i think its worth every penny and mine cost ALOT more then most peoples will because of how bad my eyes were.

Had it done about a yr back. No serious pain involved. Definitely worth it!

Just use anti-glare specs if driving at night for coupla weeks, and then its fine.

Now I can play sports, go for a swim anytime, sleepover anywhere without wondering about contact lenses etc. Not to forgot, irritation from using the contact lenses for more than 10 hours.

Oh there is some dryness for a few weeks too, but eyedrops sort that out.
