Laptops + Woofers = ???

Lets say im coming back from school and the car is full, therefore the only place to put the bags/laptops would be in the trunk. Now, if I had two 12's banging in my trunk, what would the result be? depends on how you have the laptop packed up. i have cracked a screen on a laptop but i have also had no problems with my current acer product. however my laptop bag is thick "foam" material inside of a nylon type casing.

Vibrations-wise I wouldn't worry about it, I would be worried about the magnets screwing up your harddrive more.

unless you are doing 160+ dB in the back, I wouldnt worry about it.

It would be extremely difficult to damage a laptop due to a subwoofer..unless maybe you placed it right infront of the cone. As long as the laptop is in hibernate or OFF so the HD isn't moving, you should be in no danger of losing data. And the magnets of the subwoofer would never be close enough to the HD to erase data.

He may have them mounted inverted...

But as long as your not putting the laptop in the port, or next to the magnets, it will be fine.

i $hit you not... i convinced a kid that if he held the valvestem of his drivers front tire he would gain DB's...... we had a good laugh watching this kid in the lane...

also. to 905.... when i was in highschool the "carpool" took turns riding in the trunk. put your buddy in there and make them go deaf. we could fit 7 people into a lebaren.
