WOW...if it's that bad just get a refund or throw it away and buy another one. Not a big deal. Somethings in this world appeal to some people while others see it as trash. Simple solution

1)Get a different amp.

I dont want to jump in on either side and say that lanzar is good or bad but i have a lanzar vibe 250 and there is no way that it puts out 900 watts rms with a 50 amp fuse rating. Even if it is 100% efficient and your alternator puts out 14.4v then you can only get 720 watts worth of power. I know it doesnt put out that much but thats ok, lots of companies overrate their stuff. Im not saying that it is a bad company but it makes me wonder about a company that overrates their stuff that badly that often.

Take the Vibe 430 for example - it's rated for 400x2 bridged. With a pair of 25A fuses I KNEW when I bought it that it wasn't going to make that kind of power, but I knew it would be a good amp considering it's only $150 shipped. After I had it a while I found some benchtest info on it. It does 296x2 bridged. If you use the fuse estimate for power you get --> 14.4 x 25 = 360x2 which is pretty close to what it actually puts out. If you mulitply 360x.825 you get 297. Does that mean the amp is 82% efficient? No - it means you have to consider that a fuse can pass 200% of it's rated current for about a second before blowing.

If you apply the 82% to the 720 you came up with you get about 600 watts. How many other amps out there are going to give you 600 watts (tested) for $160 shipped?

All I'm trying to say is that the Vibe's are worth considering if you're on a budget. Are they over-rated? - yep - never argued that. But they ARE a good buy.

Optidrives are a completely different league.

I am by no means a newbie to car audio, been doing it since 94. I owned an opti-drive 500.2 and 1000.1d , and both were very good amps, put out good power and I never had a problem with either. If you ask me thegreatandy is new to car audio, being you are only 18. So what you had a lemon 1200, that is what happens, just because yours was screwed up means that every lanzar amp is junk, I dont think so. I agree with n2audio 100% we both know what the lanzar amps can do. Hrmm, last I looked this thread was started by someone that doesnt own lanzar equipment, and simply was looking into them.

The poll results are right before your eye's in case you havent read each post to this thread.

I previously pointed out that based on the opinions of people participating in this thread, more approved of lanzar than did not.

I also backed this up with factual positive reviews from industry professionals.

Also backed it up with the first hand posative reviews of customers that have rated the product based on thier own experience.

As expected, I do not see your factual proof existing anywhere on this thread.

Thanks for your help but nobody answered my question should I get another CL600m or just buy a lanzer or other under $250.00 with no more then $25.00 shipped no ebay crap I got beat for $165.00 for a 7''inch flip down that I brought and never recieved and ebay didn't help stores only
